So I played a little more but it still needed *something*. Lo and behold, that day I decided to try a new soup base (yes, that's soup! Miracles never cease!) It called for bay leaves. I sniffed the bag and knew that was just what I needed, and voila... it was! One of my new favourites, this is a warm blend with a hint of spice. Wonderful and sticks well in soap, also great for potpouri, room spray or homemade spring cleaning supplies especially in the kitchen. But it's not just for Autumn! This is a really nice blend in a spritzer bottle with your favourite floral water. I don't recommend spraying on your face, the spearmint may be harsh and always keep your essential oils and products away from children. I use about 5 drops per 2oz bottle. Be aware that mint can burn as well as cool if you use too much. I like to use floral waters as a base and boost them with the essential oil blend. This is a blend I created New Years Eve 2003, inspired by Nicole Kidman's character in Moulon Rouge.
