SHIPPING:
All
orders are shipped via Canada Post.
Orders ship from Ontario, Canada. Turn around time is usually
1-3 days for in stock items. Let me
know if you are especially in a hurry, depending on how busy I am
there may be a surcharge of $5.00 for a rush order.
Orders are shipped in the most expedient way suitable to the ship charge - sometimes depending on size/weight/location it will go express, usually within Ontario, sometimes Manitoba and Quebec. I can't say what size/weight/location specifically as there seems to be no rhyme or rule to it when I do the ship label and at that time, see what the actual ship rate will be. Generally orders outside of Ontario go expedited.
Orders to the US ship expedited - this is trackable and insurable at a rate of $1 per $100.00. In the event that a parcel is lost Canada Post won't put a trace on it for at least 12 weeks. Refunds are not applied until Canada Post has investigated and refunded me unless it is an address error on my part.
No refunds will be issued for address errors made upon order submission. In other words, if the error is mine I will send a refund, if it is not mine there will be no refund if your parcel does not arrive. If there is a change by you to address before your parcel is shipped, receipt of the change must be confirmed by me through email to count as my error. Best practice is to double check your address before submitting - it also helps if your ship address is different from your billing address to make note of it in the message area.
SHIP RATES - Please note that the chart below is not current. Canada Post has raised their rates considerably so I have had to adjust the ship costs as well. I will be updating shortly.
US RESIDENTS PLEASE NOTE:I can't guarantee that orders to the US will not incure any additional cost upon pick up due to taxes or border fees, it may depend on your location. If in doubt, best to ask at your postal outlet.

ORDERING INFORMATION:
The fastest way to place and receive your order is through our online cart. Orders placed by email tend to be misplaced, not recieved or generally take longer to process. Unless ordering through the cart is not possible due to a custom order or mistake on the cart, there will be a $5 charge for email orders. To reduce errors, I don't take phone orders.

Simply print it out, fill it in and mail with payment. It is important that you make cheques payable to Janice Ferrante to avoid any delays from the bank.
If you would like to use the form but pay with your credit card, just email me and I will send you a request for funds through email using paypal's secure link - no account is needed to use it.
MINIMUM ORDER:
Minimum order is $35.00 for Canadian orders and 50.00 for US (if you're wondering, this is because often small packets cost me more to ship than the cart charges. This allows me to bypass a handling fee as the order will at least be large enough to cover the extra that I pay out of my pocket to ship.) If you really want to make a smaller order, you can email me but there will be a $5 service fee (so it probably works out the same to make a larger order :0)

ONTARIO - GST, PST unless you have a pst number, please email for a form that must be filled in and sent to me.
New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador (13% in the GST spot)

SKN POINTS:
Our SKN points program is evolving! Everybody gets a grab bag freebie! Generally the bigger $ amount of your order, the bigger your freebie will be. Check the blog to be updated on what the product of the month is this month.
Retail Items* - Generally items that would not be considered bulk purchases - also does not include kits and variety packs.
PAYMENTS:
We
accept cheque, money order, email money transfer and
paypal. At this time paypal will process credit cards even if you
don't hold an account.
If
you are a Canadian customer, the payment process will take you
directly to the paypal site to process your card or instant payment.
All
prices on the cart are in Canadian funds, so if you are a US buyer,
all you need to do is choose to pay in Canadian funds when using
paypal, it's very easy. If you are paying by cheque, I will send you
your US total.
I
do not collect or receive any of your payment information through
paypal except for your email address, name and items ordered.
PACKAGING:
At Skincare Naturals we like to practice what we preach. We use recycled packaging materials when ever possible. This includes boxes of all kinds, shredded newspaper packing and you might even find you invoice printed on the other side of a printed piece of paper.
We hope you don't find this incredibly offensive. We are more inclined to find fancy packaging that goes straight to the landfill to be more offensive.
Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. That's our story and we're sticking to it!
Don't forget that you can do your part. Did you know that if you ask, your grocery store probably has paper bags available instead of plastic? The check out girl may look at you like your nuts, just offer to help pack if it makes you feel better. Don't be shy, you're the customer. Go a step further and request that the store manager train their staff to give their customers a choice. When I worked at the grocery store eons ago, we always had to ask, do you want paper or plastic?
You can also keep a stash of plastic bags in your vehicle, or go first class and purchase some of those handy totes you can buy or the plastic storage boxes available at some stores, they'd be handy for lots of things if you keep them in your trunk ready to go for any shopping trip. (UPDATE: I am so glad that over the past years most grocery stores are now giving credits and encouraging use of reusable shopping bags!)
